A slow cooker treat that you will be digging into non-stop.
Having a serving of banana split in from your favorite ice cream parlor is a really special treat. But making one in your very own home makes it extra special especially when you use up ice cream flavors you love.
Now here is a different turn to it. How about preparing your banana split using the slow cooker? Sounds very interesting right? Yes it is. And of course it will look quite different form the traditional banana split we always have, but it will be as amazing as the original.

Slow Cooker Banana Split Cake
Ingredients
- Betty Crocker™ SuperMoist™ yellow cake mix - 1 box
- vanilla ice cream, melted - 1 cup
- water - ¼ cup
- vegetable oil - ½ cup
- eggs - 3
- (4-serving size) banana cream instant pudding and pie filling mix - 1 box
- large maraschino cherries - 24
- pecan pieces - ½ cup
- vanilla ice cream - ½ gallon
- hot fudge - 1 cup
Instructions
Spray 4 1/2-quart slow cooker with baking spray with flour.
In large bowl, stir together cake mix, melted ice cream, water, oil, eggs and pudding mix. Cut 12 of the maraschino cherries in half, and fold into batter along with 1/4 cup of the pecan pieces. Pour batter into slow cooker. Top with remaining pecans and 8 more maraschino cherry halves.
Cover; cook on High heat setting 2 to 3 hours or until cake is set in center. To serve, spoon hot cake from slow cooker, and top with scoops of ice cream. Drizzle with hot fudge; top with remaining cherries.
I love how it turns out so moist and super tasty. The cake itself gives the banana split more flavors than just the regular banana split up.
