Slow Cooker Sweet Lamb Curry

Having lamb in a restaurant usually gives us that feel of the actual eating-out atmosphere. And most of the time the lamb we order are very typical restaurant recipes.
Now here is a lamb recipe that you might want to try and you can actually brag about. And if you are a curry fan, then you be sure that you will not be disappointed in trying this out.

Slow Cooker Sweet Lamb Curry
Ingredients
- diced lamb - 1 kilogram
- onions (large, diced) - 1
- cloves garlic (minced) - 2
- mild curry powder - 3 teaspoons
- minced ginger - 1/2 teaspoon
- cooking apples (small green granny smith, pealed, cored and diced) - 2
- liquid (beef stock) - 1/2 cup
- chutney (fruit) - 1/2 cup
- corn flour (to thicken)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients (except cornflour) into slow cooker
- Cook on HIGH for 2hrs then LOW for 3hrs (which is the same as 5hrs on auto)
- 1/2 hr prior to serving, mix 2-3 tbsp cornflour with 1 tbsp water to form a paste and stir through dish. Leave lid slightly ajar for that last half hour to thicken.
- Serve with creamy mashed potato or rice and crusty bread rolls.
