Crock Pot Teriyaki Pork Roast
Ingredients
- unsweetened apple juice - 3/4 cup
- sugar - 2 tablespoons
- reduced-sodium soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- white vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- ground ginger - 1 teaspoon
- garlic powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- pepper - 1/8 teaspoon
- pork loin roast, halved - 1 boneless (about 3 pounds)
- cornstarch - 7-1/2 teaspoons
- cold water - 3 tablespoons
Instructions
- In a greased 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the first seven ingredients.
- Add roast and turn to coat. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender.
- Remove pork to a serving platter; keep warm.
- Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer to a small saucepan.
- Bring liquid to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth.
- Gradually stir into the pan.
- Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with meat.
